With 1,398 more cases, Delhi's Covid tally rises to 1.56 lakh Last Updated : 19 Aug 2020 07:58:37 PM IST File Photo With 1,398 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, the national capital's Covid-19 tally reached 1,56,139 on Wednesday, while nine more deaths took the toll to 4,235.
According to the Delhi government's daily health bulletin, as many as 1,40,767 people have recovered - over 12 times the number of active cases which stand at 11,137. A total of 1,320 patients recovered in the last 24 hours.A total of 6,317 RT-PCR and 14,498 rapid antigen tests were conducted on Wednesday. A total of 13,581,89 tests have been conducted so far. The number of containment zones in the national capital stood at 560.Currently, 3,595 beds are occupied in the hospitals out of a total capacity of 14,122, 600 beds are occupied in the dedicated Covid Care Centres out of 10,143 and 167 in the dedicated Covid Health Centres against the availability of 594 beds.
