A young man working as a labourer at a scrap shop was found dead in East Kolkata's Anandapur, police said on Wednesday.
"Munna Khan (25) was found dead in a roadside bush along the Basanti Highway in Anandapur on Tuesday night. Police seized the body after getting the information around 10 p.m.," Joint Commissioner of Police Vishal Garg said.
He said no external injury marks were found on the body, which was sent for an autopsy. Khan's brother identified the body.
Police said Khan was found dead near a godown where he sometimes stayed during the night.
