Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath called a high level meeting on Friday over UP assembly security, after plastic explosive was found inside the assembly on Thursday.
The meeting was called by the Chief Minister at around 10:30 am on friday
"PETN explosive was found and action must be taken against those involved. NIA must investigate this," CM said during the assembly session after the meeting.
"Everyone needs to be cautious related to security matters and police verification needs to be done for workers in assembly. Security guidelines must be issued and everyone must follow them," Yogi said.
"Strong security system must be established as this could be a terror conspiracy," the CM added.
Sixty grams of suspicious white powder was found on a bench in the Uttar Pradesh assembly during ongoing session onThursday. It was sent to forensic lab for testing and was later identified as explosive.
