BCCI SGM adjourned till Wednesday Last Updated : 09 Apr 2017 03:38:48 PM IST File Photo : BCCI President N. Srinivasan
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Sunday adjourned its Special General Meeting (SGM) after the Committee of Administrators (COA) sought the Supreme Court's directives on who are eligible to be the board's representative at ICC meetings.
The meeting, which was also attended by former BCCI President N. Srinivasan, is now schduled for Wednesday.
Although Srinivasan was forced to step down as the BCCI chief following the corruption and match-fixing scandal in the Indian Premier League (IPL), he still heads the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA).
"The meeting was adjourned as the SC is hearing the matter tomorrow. Since legal implications are involved, Amitabh Chaudhary, the Joint Secretary announced adjournment," Saurashtra Cricket Association Secretary Niranjan Shah told reporters here.
Besides Srinivasan, Shah, former Kerala Cricket Association President T.C. Matthew, former IPL Chairman Ranjib Biswal and Andhra Cricket Association secretary G. Ganga Raju were present for the meeting.
Sunday's meeting was the first SGM after the implementation of Lodha Committee recommended administrative reforms.IANS For Latest Updates Please-
