Around 36 terrorist have been killed after US military on Thursday dropped largest non-nuclear bomb on Afghanistan, Kabul's Ministry of Defence announced on Friday. Ministry spokesperson Muhammad Radmanish told Efe news that a large amount of ammunition and weapons were also destroyed in the bombing. The US forces dropped a massive GBU-43 bomb, also known as the "mother of all bombs", in eastern Afghanistan against a series of caves used by the Islamic State. "Everybody knows exactly what happened, what I do is I authorise our military. We have the greatest military in the world, they've done a job, as usual, so we have given them total authorisation and that's what they're doing, and frankly, that's why they've been so successful lately," he said. | ||||||||
