2 dead, dozens injured in Italy high-speed train derailment Last Updated : 06 Feb 2020 01:30:07 PM IST Train derailed in Italy A high-speed train derailment in Italy on Thursday led to the death of at least 2 people, according to emergency services.
The BBC said in a report that the victims were thought to be drivers, while about 30 people received minor injuries in the accident, that took place in the city of Lodi, some 50 km from Milan.The causes of the accident are being investigated.According to sources, there were 28 passengers travelling in train, a number of whom received minor injuries.The train was travelling from Milan to the city of Salerno.All services on the Milan-Bologna high-speed route have been suspended and diverted via conventional lines.IANS Rome For Latest Updates Please-
