- Ten worst remakes
The Hindi film industry has a long history of remakes. In other words, it is not something which has started happening in recent years although there is a crucial difference. Earlier, the industry was usually content with adapting old Hindi films for the newer audiences. So, Shree 420 was subtly transformed into Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman while Khel Khel Main ‘became’ Khiladi – well, almost. Whacking from abroad is what is becoming increasingly frequent with Heyy Babby being a reworked version of Three Men and a Baby, for instance. David Dhawan hasn't even spared Chashme Buddoor and Hitch. In the photo gallery that follows, check out the ten worst remakes that our industry has ever made.
