Is virginity an issue?

In olden days, women who avoided sex were taught to believe that men want virgins when they marry. But nowadays, few men have such expectations. They realise that when they have been through relationships, so have women which is why their relationships happened in the first place. When the modern woman finally settles down, she knows that her husband won't expect virginity from her. If a so-called modern man does that, he doesn't deserve to be called modern anyway.
