Biting cold wave sweeps North India

After Lucknow, the coldest place in the state was Meerut where night temperature was recorded at 2.8 degrees Celsius. Moradabad followed with 3.7 degrees Celsius and Kanpur recorded 3.8 degrees Celsius. The regional Met office forecasting a spell of rains later in the day.
