PICS: Delhi-ites 'richer' than before in 2014

WATER-ELECTRICITY-TELEPHONE: As regards water, per capita consumption in Delhi is 48 gallons per day with 16, 02,099, metered and 4,69,705 un-metered connections. The generation of water in Delhi was 855 MGD in 2013. There were around 39.54 lakhs domestic electricity consumers during 2013-14. The total numbers of consumers are 48.97 lakhs. The total numbers of telephone connections in Delhi were 4.57 crores in 2013 as compared to 4.34 crores in 2012, the report said.
