Former Andhra Pradesh Governor N.D. Tiwari did not disclosed his love afffair with Ujjwala Sharma and was under the wraps for years . Tiwari had met Shekhar's mother Ujjwala Sharma during the late 1960s.Tiwari came into trouble in 2009 as Ujjwala Sharma, mother of Rohit Shekhar who has said he is the veteran politician's natural son,In 2008, Rohit Shekhar filed a paternity suit claiming Tiwari to be his biological father. The court ordered that DNA mapping of Tiwari be done. The DNA test results released by the court in 2012 established that Tiwari is the biological father of Rohit Shekhar, and that Ujjwala Sharma is the biological mother.
