IPL7 begins with two one-sided games

The KKR versus MI match produced one of the two easy wins. KKR’s show was made memorable because of the batting of Jacques Kallis and the magic of Sunil Narine with the ball. Kallis, who would have been dismissed had Lasith Malinga held on to a catch, seemed determined to disprove those who had been insisting that he wasn’t suited for the format. The South African great scored 72 off 46 deliveries, supported by Manish Pandey who compiled 64 off 53 deliveries, enabling KKR to put up 163 on the board.
