Lava from Hawaii's Kilauea Volcano advancing,evacuation to begin

Estimated at between 300,000 and 600,000 years old, Kilauea is the youngest of the five volcanoes that make up Hawaii's Big Island. Tradition holds that Kilauea is the home of the Hawaiian volcano goddess Pele, who has expressed her anger in nearly continuous eruptions over the past century.
