Josef Stalin (1924-1953): After the demise of Vladimir Lenin, Josef Stalin became the leader of Soviet Union. He was believed to be the progessive leader and he dreamt of moving his country to higher in world economy. Stalin had launched the "Great Purge", killing every person who opposed him and his ideals. He led to the starvation of nearly 10 million people.
