PICS: Auto sales up despite Re fall

HERO MOTOCORP : The country's largest two-wheeler maker Hero MotoCorp today reported a 3.64 per cent rise in total sales at 4,59,996 units for August this year. In the same month last year, it had sold 4,43,801 units, Hero MotoCorp said in a statement. Hero MotoCorp Senior Vice President (Marketing and Sales) Anil Dua said: "Registering growth in both retail as well as dispatch sales despite weak market sentiments has come about due to several initiatives undertaken in recent times."
